Only 4hrs away from Vancouver, the Okanagan Valley is best known for their lush vineyards and quality wine. The perfect local family vacation for summer.
Vineyard after vineyard and a lot of exploring we found some of the best wineries and local businesses that are worth visiting again.
1. Mission Hill Family Estate Winery
Situated in West Kelowna, this winery deserves the number one spot on my list of favourite wineries and places in the Okanagan. If you are celebrating a birthday or an event, here is the place to treat yourself. This winery isn't shy of being the best in the Okanagan Valley. The venue, food, wine and service is what makes the experience unforgettable.

3. Davison Orchard Farm
While touring around Kelowna we stopped by Davison Orchard Farm which had the juicest red cherries and great jams, jellies, pickled veg, jarred honeys, popcorn and a ton of other farm goods and souvenirs. Totally worth stopping if you wany to bring back some great okanagan goods.

4. BX Cider Express
Located in Vernon this cidery is a hidden gem! Really glad that we visited here, it was so worth it. If you love cider or just quality apple juice their products have no preservatives added, making it super fresh and pure. They even sell their own lemonades with a twist.
If you enjoy a good pizza, they make it inhouse with their own outdoor pizza oven!
