Travel Series: My Top 5 Places You Must Visit in Paris

If you are deciding on taking a quick trip to Paris and only have a few days to check out some unforgettable landmarks then you have ventured to the right place.

Kelly's Must Visit List of Paris:

#1 At the top of my list: The Eiffel Tower of course!

If you get the chance to, go and see the eiffel tower at night. It's even more stunning!

Next to the eiffel tower you can take a boat tour that takes you around the city to see many landmarks including the view of the Notre Dame!

#2 The Louvre Museum

Fun Fact the Louvre Musuem is the biggest museum in the world. Home to the Mona Lisa, it is rich in history and definitely worth visiting. Tip! Free entry on Fridays from 6pm-9:45pm.

#3 Galerie Lafayette

If you love to shop, especially high end designer brand shopping then you will be in shopping heaven. This mall has every designer brand you can think of and even a food court on one of its multiple floors with affordable meals that are delicious. Tip! The top floor/ roof of this mall has a great view of Paris.

Depending on which location you visit (this mall has many outlets), the Arc de Triomphe is right up the strip on Champs Élysées!

#4 The Catacombs

If your brave enough to explore the underground world of the dead beneath the city of Paris then the catacombs is an haunting experience as you walk through narrow passages alongisde the dead. Tip! If you are a tall person like me (6ft and up) just know you will have to bend your head as the passages have low headroom.

#5 Sacré Cœur

Sacré Cœur is known as the sacred heart basilica in Montmarte and one of the highest points in the city.

Be willing to climb a lot of steps to reach the beautiful viewpoint at the top overlooking the city.

Talking a stroll through the town of Montmarte is filled with cute quaint chocolate shops and cheese shops!

This is My Top 5 must visit in Paris, there are still so many other landmarks in Paris worth visitig such as the Arc de Triomphe as well as the entire strip of Champs Elysees. This big city is a busy one and filled with a lot of excitement and crazy drivers. I suggest doing as much sight seeing as possible to capture the essence of what Paris is all about.
